Preparation time: 5 min / Cooking time: 30 min
This is likely the best almond butter I've tried. Used whole almonds this time and let them blend until they became silky smooth and almost a sauce. This is perfect on, for example, porridges that you want to garnish. Extremely tasty and I’ll probably need to ration what I’m allowed to eat per day. Could finish this jar.
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C
2. Spread almonds over a baking sheet
3. Bake for 10 minutes. It is important to stir the nuts at least twice so that they bake evenly and thoroughly.
4. Let the almonds cool on the sheet.
5. Place in a food processor and blend until silky smooth, just before they are perfect, add salt, vanilla drops, and cinnamon. Store in a jar. I recommend processing them VERY LONG as the almond butter only gets better the longer it is processed.
No idea how long this keeps, I'm always quite quick to finish the jar.
